Why Hydrate

Staying hydrated is of outmost importance for health and peak fitness. Not drinking enough water can lead to several problems including muscle fatigue, poor digestion, and even weight gain because the body can’t metabolize fat as well.

How much water should we drink? According to the International Sports Medicine Institute there is a simple formula you can follow to get your daily intake: If you are not active, drink 1/2 an ounce of water for every pound you weigh (i.e. if you weigh 160 lbs, drink 80 ozs of water a day). An active person should drink 2/3 of an ounce for every pound you weigh. Your water intake should be spread out evenly during the day throughout your waking hours.

Planet Zero Gravity beverage bottles are an easy way keep up with your daily water intake requirements.  Since they are made from food grade stainless steel, they doesn’t require a liner like aluminum bottles do and don’t leave any aftertaste in the water. Maybe best of all, stainless steel bottles are reusable and recyclable so they don’t end up in a landfill or worse!

In short, below are the adverse effects of NOT staying hydrated:

1. Poor muscle tone

2. Muscle soreness

3. Excessive body fat

4. Digestive Problems

5. Poor organ function

6. Water retention
