December ‘08 – Planet Zero Gravity launches a new line of stainless steel water bottles. These bottles are made from food grade stainless steel and are 1 Liter in size – perfect to carry around with you during the day to stay hydrated. There has been a much publicized scare recently about BPA in many of the plastic bottles on the market today. Also, plastic bottles are one of the leading sources of pollution in landfills. Many are discarded and end up washing up onto beaches around the world.
Our stainless steel bottles can be recycled, are BPA-Free, and because of the wide mouth are easily cleaned. Stainless steel bottles do not require a liner like aluminum bottles do. These liners can crack and leech if the bottle becomes damaged.

liquid logic cross river
The Liquid Logic CR is a river running playboat for all levels of paddlers. Instead of just taking an existing playboat design and softening the edges, Liquid Logic designed each part of the boat for all river play. That is what makes the Cross River different from the other boats in its category. Liquid Logic talked to paddlers and dealers from all over the country about the characteristics this boat should have to make it the perfect river running playboat. The list went something like this: Comfortable, easy to paddle, and rips it up in all types of features. If you want a boat that can do blunts, stern squirts, loops, and spins the CR is for you.
The CR (Cross River) Series river running playboats come in 3 sizes: CR 80, CR 125, and the CR 250. The following measurements are listed below:
length | width | weight | cockpit length | cockpit width | rocker bow | rocker stern | volume | paddler weight range |
CR 80 – 6′ 5″ | 24″ | 27 lbs | 32″ | 20″ | 8″ | 7″ | 56 gal | 90-160 lbs
CR 125 – 6′ 7″ | 25″ | 31 lbs | 33.5″ | 18.75″ | 8″ | 7″ | 55 gal | 140-210 lbs
CR 250 – 6′ 9″ | 26″ | 36 lbs | 33″ | 20″ | 10″ | 8″ | 65 gal | 180-250 lbs

Planet Zero Gravity is an online auction site catering to the ‘action sports’ market. What do we define as Action Sports? – Skiing, snowboarding, whitewater kayaking, kite boarding, surfing, mountain biking, and climbing.
We decided to build this site as an alternative place to go and buy or sell sports gear at. Up to this point, your options in the marketplace were limited or undesirable, especially if you wanted to unload some used equipment. As a seller, you could go to one of the few existing auction sites and pay not only a fee to list your equipment, but also a fee based on what your item sold at (if it did). To make matters worse, there are few if any auction sites that just specialize in sports gear.
Your other option as a seller would be to list your equipment on a classified ad site or gear swap site (usually the same thing). The good news about these sites is they are often free to use; the bad news is that there are a ton of them on the internet. Another problem with selling something via a classified ad is it’s more work for the seller than putting an item up for sale on an auction. Why?…with a classified ad potential buyers are always calling or emailing if the item is still for sale, trying to negotiate a better price, and you will never sell it for more than the price you listed it at.
At the Planet Zero Gravity Auction Site:
1) Sellers can put an item up for sale with a basic listing FOR FREE! This includes the listing, up to 3 pictures, and the option to set a ‘Buy it Now’ Price and/or a ‘Reserve’ Price. The only fees we charge sellers for are a ‘Featured’ category listing or to make your ad ‘Bolded’.
2) Once the auction is over, your item is no longer listed. This means no phone calls asking if it is still available.
3) You have the possibility to make more money selling your item than anticipated. If you are selling equipment that is in demand, the bidding may go up higher than you would have received selling it for a fixed price in a classified ad.
4) You can read feedback on buyers and sellers before doing business. This feature is usually not available on classified ad sites.
Please check out the “Planet Zero Gravity Auction Site”:http://www.planetzerogravity.com/auction/index.php and give us your feedback. We would like to know what you think and how we can improve.
Thanks,
The Planet Zero Gravity Team

- liquid logic ronin
The Ronin is a boat that according to Liquid Logic: “The big wave boys and girls are really going to dig as well as the park and play junkies. On a wave it generates more speed and power than anything we have done before, which creates huge bounces and helps the boat skip into the new combination moves on a wave. This boat excel in small features because of its super compact volume. The Ronin loops huge even for larger paddlers, yet is narrow enough to boss around for the newer linked hole moves”.
The Ronins, like other boats from Liquid Logic, are very comfortable. For the Ronin this is partially due to the higher knee placement and larger footbumps. They are also sized to compliment the Vision series and can now cover a range of paddlers from 100 to 210 pounds. There are two sizes for the Ronin: the Ronin 49 and the Ronin 59. The Ronin 49 is sized to fit well between the Vision 44 and 56 so that paddlers that don’t seem to fit either of these designs will enjoy the comfort and volume of the 49. The Ronin 59 is a larger boat than the Vision 56.
Liquid Logic also says this about the Ronin: “The Ronin’s hull speed translates into better retention on smaller features and more energy for big waves. It has the loosest hull of any playboat we’ve produced and it facilitates easy spins along with quick-transitioning bounces for more advanced moves. The smooth-transition bow provides maximum control for all kinds of aerial gymnastics. The extra bow volume also means easy downriver paddling and more comfort”.
For more information on the Ronin visit Liquid Logic Kayaks.

- the liquid logic hoss
One of my favorite whitewater kayaks (probably because it was the one I learned to paddle in) is the Liquid Logic Hoss.
The Hoss is an older model and was once classified as a creek boat before the Jefe was available, but its true calling is a big water river runner with plenty of room inside for even large paddlers. It has a planning hull and is extremely stable punching holes or crossing eddy lines. This makes it a great boat for novice paddlers to learn in and quickly build confidence. The Hoss is the larger model of the family that includes also the Trigger and Lil’ Joe.
Hoss:
length 7′ 10″
width 26″
weight 42 lbs
volume 70 gal.
paddler weight 160 – 245 lbs
