Q: Do Sellers pay any fees to list an item on your auction site?

A: Basic listings are free. This means your text listing and up to 3 photos do not cost anything. The only fees we charge are if you want to be in our featured category ($10) or if you want your listing to stand out by being 'bolded' ($3).

 

Q: How can we pay for either the 'featured' category or a 'bold' listing?

A: We accept Paypal, the world leader in online payments. Setting up an account takes only a couple minutes and you can then pay our fees with a credit card, bank account, or an existing Paypal balance. All transactions processed through Paypal are safe and secure.

 

Q: Can photos be added to an auction listing?

A: Yes, up to 3 total and they are free. Their maximum size each is 500KB.

 

Q: Does Planet Zero Gravity sell the email and contact information from its auction users?

A: NO! We never sell or rent our customer information to other parties.

 

Q: Do buyers pay fees on your site?

A: Buyers do not pay any Planet Zero Gravity fees to use the auction. The only charges are obviously the cost of the good(s) you are buying from the seller and however shipping or pickup is arranged with the seller of the item.

 

Q: How does the buyer pay a seller after the auction is over?

A: The seller will have listed on his/her auction what types of payments are accepted. It is up to the buyer and seller to contact each other after the completion of the auction to make payment and arrange delivery of the item.

 

Q: What steps does Planet Zero Gravity take to make sure the buyer and seller uphold their end of the auction once it is over?

A: Buy placing a bid as a buyer you are entering into an agreement to purchase if you win the high bid. As a seller you are obligated to sell your item for the ending high bid unless a reserve price was set. If a reserve price was used and the bidding did not reach that minimum price, the seller does not have an obligation to sell. Failure to complete a valid auction by either the buyer or seller will result in being banned from the Planet Zero Gravity site and may bring possible legal action.

 

Q: How do I list a service on your auction site ?

A: We suggest describing a complete service or a specific number of hours in your listing. An example might be "3 hours of beginner climbing instruction scheduled at a mutually convenient time" or "The rafting trip of a lifetime - 5 days, all meals, and transportation from the airport included". BUY IT NOW and RESERVE PRICE auctions work well for service items.
